Before establishing the Vértesi Orfeusz Kennel, Mr. Tibor Horváth senior had already been training dogs for The Home Office and the border-guards since the early 1970's. Our kennel was officially founded in 1989 with a litter of rottweilers, which was not omly promising but later proved to be successful as well.
After winning the title of 'Champion of Berlin' at one of the most noted exhibitions in Germany, we made even more efforts to reach the best possible quality in breeding. Later our Neapolitan mastiffs were also successful in different national and international competitions. At the time we had already had the first mops, English and French bulldogs, which we have been dealing with up to the present days.
Our main breeding guidelines are first of all genetics and the typical external appearance of the breed. Our most important aim is to produce healthy individuals which perfectly symbolise their breed. We recommend our puppies for exhibitions, further breeding and also for keeping them as family pets.
